Children used by President Obama as a political tool, 1-18-13 commentary

We all should look out for the children shouldn't we?
A few days ago President Obama went to an all new low. He used children to push for new gun laws. President Obama had children around him as he gave a speech pushing for new gun laws. By the way what are parents thinking who allow their children to be used as political tools.
The left has been pushing for new gun laws since the horrible shooting at that grade school in Connecticut. The President has said we must do something for the children. THE MOST INNOCENT OF CHILDREN ARE THE UNBORN but this White House does nothing to keep them safe in fact does everything it can to put the unborn in more danger.
Something the left doesn't embrace is that CRIMINALs don't obey the laws on the books now.
I thought the things Obama was going to come up with was going to stop another shooting like the one in Connecticut from happening. The shooter in that shooting stole the guns he used from his mother. No law Obama is pushing would have stopped that killer from commitmenting his crime.
Guns are not the problem. Guns in the hand of a well trained citizen can do much good. The true problem is we have forgotten God and values in America. The unborn have no rights. Things that go against God and his word are called good. No gun law will stop crime but a change in the values of our nation might stop it.

Christmas peace, children killed, and where was God, 12-25-12 Commentary

Where was God? That is a question many souls are asking after what took place at that grade school in Connecticut. Where was God when all those children were murdered. How could a good God allow that. It is terrible something like that happens around Christmas. Those are some of the feelings souls have expressed.
Some have said should not Christmas bring peace instead of children being killed. Some have acted like God was not there because he has been ordered out of the government schools by the court. Though that is not correct either legally, or is that correct far as Theology goes.
We often get the idea Christmas should bring about peace. Well where was God when all those children were murdered. No not in Connecticut but back around that first Christmas. You see the birth of the Christ child so upset an evil human King that he ordered little children to be murdered. When we say God brings peace to us that doesn't mean this world will always be a peaceful place but every soul that calls on the name of the Lord can live at peace because they know their soul is right with the Lord. So where was God when those killings happen in Connecticut the same place he was that first Christmas when evil King Herald order those little children killed. Matthew 1: 23 reads “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[d] (which means “God with us”).
Jesus came to be part of our lives. He came to help us have peace in our souls even while our world is at war. He will do that if we will admit we are sinners and that he took the punishment for our sins.
Have a blessed Christmas.

Penn State and Values: 11-22-11 Commentary

(audio)

Cal Thomas had a great radio commentary last Friday on what is taking place at Penn State. Cal said he is outrage like most people by the shameful acts and cover up that has taken place at that school involving sex with boys which has resulted in some firings.

However Cal goes on to ask who decides what is right and who decides what is wrong. At one time abortion was frown upon by doctors today it is legal and some think it is a good thing.

Cal is right we have forgotten the author of life and his views for living.

Jail, or Church, 10-18-11 Commentary

(mp3)

The ACLU says an Alabama town should not start a program that will allow offenders to choose whether they serve a jail sentence or attend church every Sunday for a year.

I have mixed feelings on this issue. I think it would be good that some who do crime end up in a church house instead of a jail house on the other hand if it is the wrong kind of church that doesn’t preach the Bible or call souls to repent it won’t help change those who have done crime.

However knowing the ACLU most of the time is against good and Godly things overall this must be a good idea.

The Bible says if anyone will put their faith in Christ they become a new person.

No Pleasure in Death 10-13-11 Commentary

Don’t you think those of us who follow Christ

should not take the pleasure in the death of anyone even if it is done by

the state and is justified. Up front this is not a commentary about

Rick Perry and I am not saying don’t cast your vote for him.

I like many things he has said but the other night he was off base.

The other night in reply to a question Gov.

Perry said he has not lost any sleep over putting anyone to death.

Now there might be times when the state has no choice but to put somebody

to death but it is not something that should be easy to do and it for sure

shouldn’t be something to cheer about as the crowd did in response to

Gov. Perry’s reply.

Besides doesn’t the Bible somewhere tell us not to take pleasure in the death

of the wicked.

Children Should Be Allowed to Watch Shooting Games 9-30-11 Commentary

( mp3 )

Don’t you think at times we blame things instead of those who do crime. The London mayor has announced Children will be barred from watching shooting events at the 2012 London Olympics.

The restriction is designed to help stem London’s rising gun-crime rate, and to prevent the “glorification” of firearms.

The problem is not guns but how guns are used. The problem also goes deeper into culture too many kids in the UK and America are growing up in broken homes, and going to schools that don't teach right or wrong or that there is a God that has a good plan for their lives.

This step is not going to stop kids from doing bad things it just will make those on the left feel good and it will keep a lot of good kids from seeing guns used in a good way.

Challenging the Catholic Church 9-7-11 Commentary

Don’t you think all people of faith should be willing to challenge their church if the leadership of the church does wrong. Irish Prime Minister Kenny has given it to the Vatican for how it has handled the sexual abuse of children in his Romans Catholic Church.

Let me make it clear the Catholic Church has done a lot of good it’s stand for the unborn should put a lot of us Evangelicals to shame who were slow to that cause. The Prime Minister was upset how the church seems to not have reported abuse to legal authorities. He said that “the Irish people, including the very many faithful Catholics who – like him – have been shocked and dismayed by the repeated failings of Church authorities to face up to what is required.

For the sake of the children I hope the leaders of this church will listen to the Prime Minister.

Harmless crime? Not! 9-2-11 Commentary

Don’t you think something which has led to these things sex trafficking, violence against women, and long lasting effects on children and families is not a harmless crime.

Over the years, many have claimed that porn is a harmless crime. But the evidence shows that porn is harmful. It hurts women, children, families, and has made our nation more broken.

A very troubling development is that there have been zero prosecutions of illegal, hardcore adult pornography under the Obama administration. Let me say that again zero prosecutions. Thanks Attorney General Eric Holder.

Why Norway 9-1-11 Commentary

When something bad happens I believe we should look at why it happened not to make excuses but to explain it and keep it from happening again don’t you agree.

The nation of Norway is a paradise on earth . That all changed when in July Norway had their own 9/11 happen. Norway is in a state of absolute, total shock in the aftermath of one of the most heartless acts of terrorism since the 9/11 attacks. The problem is the people of Norway awhile back turned away from God. They deny the doctrine of sin. An police spokesperson said this “What the world needs to understand about Norway, is that this incident represents our loss of innocence, because we’ve been a very safe country to live in until now.” She then added: “There’s been no reason to keep people in prison for life.” But there has been and always will be. It’s the three letter word called sin.

Media Labeling Some Things Bad 8-30-11 Commentary

Don’t you find interesting that the media will label some who do horrible things but not others who do horrible things. When somebody blows up an abortion clinic or murders an abortion doctor they are quick to call the murder a pro life radical.

Then in that Norway shooting at that youth camp much of the media called the shooter a Christian fundamentalist" but as my friend Cal Thomas posted on Twitter they don’t link followers of Islam who do bad things with the Islam faith even though Islam teaches it’s followers to hate others unlike the Christian faith. Also leaders in the pro life community or followers of Christ are quick to separate their faith and views from those who do horrible things in their name unlike followers of Islam.

Treat Inmates Godly 8-29-11 Commentary

Don’t you think we should treat all human beings as made in the image of God. That is what my Bible teaches. That means everyone even those who may have done things wrong in life. Many U.S. correctional facilities do not provide air conditioning in their cell blocks, which leaves inmates with no choice but to sweat out the high temperatures during the Summer. Yes those who are in prison should be punished but we should respond the way Jesus would. Based on my understanding of the Lord and his word he wants us to treat all souls with respect even though we may not agree with the choices they have made.

Also lets not forget if it wasn't for God's grace we too could be in a prison cell because all of us are sinners according to God even if the world we live in says our sin isn’t that bad.

People Do Change 8-15-11 Commentary

So have you ever done something wrong and have since been changed. A letter to my local paper suggested that the state get inmates to help fill sand bags to help those who have been hurt by the floods in our part of the country.

Well a person by the name of LR. wrote in reply. He called inmates losers and lazy.

I agree with inmates have done wrong who need to be punished but God can change anyone and I know those in prison who have been changed. Perhaps LR should go visit some prison ministry to see what the Lord can do behind bars and how inmates have been changed by the grace of God. Besides all of us are in sinners even if we are not in prison.

Casey Anthony and Right to Life 8-12-11

Don’t you find it funny in a sad way that the media gets upset over somethings but not other things. It wasn’t the verdict that most expected or wanted. “Not guilty” were the words repeated by the jury for Casey Anthony for the charges of abusing or killing her two-year old daughter Caylee. She was found guilty of four charges of lying to police, but is now free though she is not free spirituality.
Rush Limbaugh pointed to the hypocrisy of the pro-abortion media upset about the verdict, stating that if the killing took place just two years earlier in the womb, the media would have considered her a star or a hero.
Don’t you think the media should hate all murder.

Death Row Man Changed 8-9-11

Don’t you think we should know when condemned souls expressed remorse. Awhile back Nebraska’s Gov. who I like Dave Heineman expressed some frustration over how the courts in our land works Heineman was talking about the case involving Carey D. Moore who was put on death row in Nebraska for the horrible murders of some cab drivers in Omaha back in 1979.
“I find it frustrating, and I’m a bit angry that we’re worried about the cruel and unusual punishment about these criminals, ,” “I don’t hear them express any remorse about their victims and their families.” Gov. Heineman said.
I happen to have a ministry to those in prison and the good Gov. should know Carey Moore is a changed man. He has expressed remorse for his crimes. He is now a child of God. I leave it up to the courts if he should be put to death but please know he is a changed man. What do you think.

Bad Children Can Change 8-3-11

Don’t you think we should have hope for children to change at the same time they should be punished when they do wrong right.

In the city where I do these broadcasts two boys, ages 12 and 13, have been charged with a sexual attack on a 5-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother at a park. They allegedly forced the girl to perform sex acts and forced her brother to take part. According to investigators the assault was recorded on the boys' cell phones.

Letters in the paper are calling for these kids to be punished harshly.

I agree they should be punished but they should not be put in adult prisons. We don’t want them to come out worst do we. Children don’t belong in adult prisons. These kids should be punished but not as adults.

What do you think.
