Jewish Congress defends followers of Jesus

( Audio )
Can those of us who are followers of Jesus learn something from another soul who doesn't share our faith?
In a recent New York Times op-ed, Ronald Lauder, the president of the World Jewish Congress, asked “Why is the world silent while Christians are being slaughtered in the Middle East and Africa?”
That is a question we all should ponder. In this commentary I want to quote from the head of the Jewish Congress.
But before I do that let me say it is not just the world but it is many of us who profess faith in King Jesus who are sinfully quiet while our brothers and sisters around the world are suffering for Jesus. As the President of the World Jewish Congress pointed out, “In Europe and in the United States, we've witnessed demonstrations over the tragic deaths of Palestinians who've been used as human shields by Hamas, the terrorist organization that controls Gaza.”
Historians may look back at this period and wonder if people had lost their bearings. Few reporters have traveled to Iraq to bear witness to the Nazi-like wave of terror that is rolling across that country. The United Nations has been mostly mum. World leaders seem to be consumed with other matters in this strange summer of 2014.
In a speech before thousands of Christians in Budapest in June, I made a solemn promise that just as I will not be silent in the face of the growing threat of anti-Semitism in Europe and in the Middle East, I will not be indifferent to Christian suffering. Historically, it has almost always been the other way around: Jews have all too often been the persecuted minority. But Israel has been among the first countries to aid Christians in South Sudan. Christians can openly practice their religion in Israel, unlike in much of the Middle East.
Amen President of the Jewish Congress. Now us who profess faith in Jesus must follow his example
by praying for our brothers and sisters who are suffering for Christ. We also should speak up for them. The UN may be doing nothing for them but we must do something for them.
What do you think.

Sarah Palin is wrong!

( Audio )
Just because somebody deserves something to happen to him  doesn't means it should. Lets image for a second that Gov. Sarah Palin and others get their wish and President Obama is impeached.
Here what a headlines could be.
"First African American President impeached thanks to GOP."
Does Obama deserve to be impeached ? Perhaps he does but that is not the question. Any move by the GOP to impeach him most likely will fail and doom their chances in the next election. Sarah Palin who is pushing it called into the Michael Medved radio show and they discussed the issue. Medved who is against impeaching Obama in a radio commentary said  even if the GOP sweeps this year’s elections and wins ten new Senate seats, they’d still need 12 Democrats to vote with them to remove Obama from office. Governor Palin couldn’t name a single Democratic Senator who might make that vote.
Besides Palin and a minority   members of the GOP no one is talking about impeachment. However if it happens it will be all over the media. Oh there are some others who are talking impeachment President Obama and the Democrats. They know talk of impeaching the President makes Obama out to be a victim  and keeps his failing record out of the spot light. If the GOP is smart they will keep Obama's record before the public while telling and showing what they will do different. If we follow Palin's wishes we are headed for at least four more years of a tax  and spend and anti life Democrat in the White House.

Evangelical Support of Israel

Do you think the Jewish people and the state of Israel are important to God? If not you might want to check out what the Bible teaches.
No Israel has not done everything right or is every action she takes justified but Israel and the Jewish people do have a special place in the heart of God.
A church activist says an anti-Israel attitude is growing among some evangelicals.

Mark Tooley, president of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, sees an increase in anti-Israel viewpoints among "evangelical elites in academia, missions and young people attending evangelical colleges and seminaries."
Tooley adds that IRD has done more extensive study on the anti-Israel influences on evangelicals.

"IRD's Luke Moon has written an overview of many of the major evangelical figures and organizations involved in attempting to turn U.S. evangelicals in a more negative direction against Israel,” he tells OneNewsNow.

Tooley advises those of us who are
pro-Israel evangelicals to ask some pointed questions to those peers that have an anti-Israel perspective.
He says, the first question should be 'What do they want Israel to do that they think will lead to peace? Do they want Israel to completely withdraw to the old 1967 borders? Do they want Israel to offer an unrestricted right of full return for all descendants of Palestinians who originally lived in Israel  prior to the creation of Israel?' Next they should ask, 'if the Palestinians would not even accept those accommodations, what exactly is the solution from their perspective?'" - ( See more at: http://www.onenewsnow.com/church/2014/07/23/evangelicals-becoming-more-anti-israel#.U9EesGK9KSM )
www.onenewsnow.com/church/2014/07/23/evangelicals-becoming-more-anti-israel#.U9EesGK9KSM ) The truth is all Evangelicals should embrace the fact that the PLO wants to rid the world of Israel and the Jewish people. Thank God Hitler failed when he tried. We who are Evangelicals should defend Israel. If we don't we are disobeying God and could be opening the door for another Holocaust.

The left is lying about the Hobby Lobby Decision

The left is lying about the Hobby Lobby Decision

Don't you think the left and President Obama should accept defeat and say they were wrong to have tried to force the owners of a  private company like Hobby Lobby to pay for something that goes against their religious values now that the high court in the land has ruled against them. If you thought that would happen you were wrong.
Listen to how some on the left have reacted to the court's decision.
Senator Harry Reid   posted It's time that five men on the Supreme Court stop deciding what happens to women.
Elizabeth Warren    Posted Can't believe we live in a world where we'd even consider letting big corps deny women access to basic care based on vague moral objections.
Hillary Clinton said the following  “You watch women and girls being deprived of their rights, some of them never have them, some of them lose them. Among those rights is control over their body’s, control over their own health care, control over the size of their families. It is a disturbing trend that you see in a lot of societies that are very unstable, anti-democratic, and frankly prone to extremism. So to introduce this element into our society…it’s very troubling that a salesclerk at Hobby Lobby who needs contraception, which is pretty expensive, is not going to get that service through her employer’s health care plan because her employer doesn’t think she should be using contraception."
Hillary either doesn't know, or doesn't care, that Hobby Lobby already offered its employees coverage that included 16 types of contraception; their lawsuit was over having to pay for a small number of forms they consider to be abortion introducing drugs. And this isn't a matter of whether or not an employer thinks an employee "should be using" a product. It's about being compelled to pay for that product, under threat of heavy fines.
As was posted on  Townhall.com  Listening to some on the Left, though, one could be forgiven for thinking that the Court had outlawed womanhood itself.
The court was right. Now it is time for our leaders to go even farer and
repeal Obamacare totally.

Obama biggest regret in office.

Listen to the audio.

Don't you hate when those in political office use people. It drives me nuts when anyone is used to advance a political side and it for sure drives me crazy when children or older people are used that way,
What do you think Obama's biggest regret  during his five-and-a-half years in the White House is?
If your guess is not being able to work with congress or get both parties to work together you would be buzz wrong. What about seeing less abortions happening? Wrong again. What about cutting taxes on families? Buzz wrong.
Nope it is "the fact that this society has not been willing to take some basic steps to keep guns of the hands of people who can do just, unbelievable damage," he said
Responding to a question from an acquaintance of one of the Santa Barbara victims, the president lamented: "We're the only developed country on earth where this happens, and it happens now once a week. ...I mean, our levels of gun violence are off the charts, there's no advanced developed country on earth that would put up with this.
"...The United States does not have a monopoly on crazy people...and yet we kill each other in these mass shootings," Mr. Obama went on. "The country has to do some soul-searching about this."
I won't forget how Obama marched families on the White House front lawn from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting after a bill failed to limit guns here in America. Obama is right the nation needs to do some soul -searching on this issue but the answer is not to take guns away from everyday  citizens who just want to keep their families safe. We must examine how we have removed values and yes God from our culture. And yes we must examine how we treat people who suffer from mental illness.

Pick Hell Over An Anti-Gay Heaven , 8-15-13 commentary

Just because a spiritual leader has done good on one issue doesn't mean he should not be challenged when he disobeys the word of God on another issue.Does it?

Desmond Tutu a retired Anglican bishop who rose to worldwide fame during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid in South Africa now is a backer of same sex marriage.

Desmond Tutu, said a few weeks ago that if he had his pick, he’d go to hell before heading to a heaven that condemned homosexuality as sin.

“I would not worship a God who is homophobic and that is how deeply I feel about this,” he said, by way of denouncing religions that discriminate against gays.

“I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven. No, I would say sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place.”

He made the remarks during the United Nations‘ launch of its gay-rights campaign in Cape Town.

Mr. Tutu also likened equal rights for gays to the fight for equal rights for blacks.

“I am as passionate about this campaign as I ever was about apartheid,” he said, . “For me, it is at the same level.”

This shows Mr. Tutu does't accept how all sin is out of the will of God and how all sin Grieves God's heart.

This also shows Tuto doesn't fully accept or embrace the power of the cross to forgive and change sinners.

Pastor at church Obama attended on Easter preaches the kingdom of this world, 4-12-13 commentary

I am blessed that my pastor and others he has preaches teach the word of God every Sunday and stays away from politics. If it be from the left or the right. When I attend church I don't want hear about politics or the upcoming election unless it is my election which Jesus has bought. And for sure on Easter Sunday or as I call it Resurrection Sunday I don't hear about politics at church. That is the day of all days pastors should proclaim how Jesus died and was raised by God the father from the dead. Sadly that is not what President Obama and his family heard in church on Easter morning. THE REV. LUIS LEON CRITICIZED THE SO-CALLED RELIGIOUS RIGHT FOR “HOLDING BACK” PROGRESS ON SAME-SEX MARRIAGE, IMMIGRATION AND OTHER ISSUES that concern the world.
LEON SAID, “IT DRIVES ME CRAZY WHEN THE CAPTAINS OF THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT ARE ALWAYS CALLING US BACK…FOR BLACKS TO BE IN THE BACK OF THE BUS…FOR WOMEN TO BE BACK IN THE KITCHEN…FOR IMMIGRANTS TO BE BACK ON THEIR SIDE OF THE BORDER.”
This pastor must have been living in a cave because the religious right has been gone for awhile. Since this pastor believes in same sex marriage he must not believe what the word of God teaches. I would also like to know who in the so called religious right wants blacks to be in the back of the bus.
Jesus teaches in the Bible his Kingdom is not of this world. This pastor's kingdom seems to be this world. Too bad the souls including President Obama who attended his church on Easter morning didn't hear about the Kingdom of God.
