Kings Values: 1-16-12 Commentary
Today Monday, January 16, is Martin Luther King Day. Some Schools will be closed though I think it might be better to keep those schools opened and teach the kids about Martin Luther King but of course the kids aren’t going to hear about the values which guided King in the government schools.
During his Those of us who value life should be thankful for Dr. King. What do you think. Until Next Time I’m Billy David Dickson |

One sin worst than another or better than another? 10-14-11 Commentary
Is one kind of sin worst than another or better than another?
On SEPTEMBER 20, 2011 AT MIDNIGHT, THE
MILITARY POLICY KNOWN AS “DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL”
EXPIRED. GAY RIGHTS GROUPS CELEBRATED.
DURING ITS 18 YEARS, DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL LEAD TO THE DISCHARGE OF AN ESTIMATED 13,000 MEN AND WOMEN FROM
THE ARMED SERVICES. I don’t believe it was good for our
nation or for the military to end this policy.
However why should one bad behavior be ranked ahead of another
bad behavior. UNMARRIED HETEROSEXUAL
MILITARY PERSONNEL WERE NOT PUNISHED FOR HAVING SEX. According to the Bible IN THE END, WE ARE ALL SINNERS.
OF COURSE THE GAY RIGHTS CROWD HAS ANOTHER AGENDA
but according to God Sin is sin.

This may not seem like good news but I do see a light in this perhaps some of these souls will see religious faith is not the answer but a relationship with the Lord Jesus is which no church can give you regardless what it preaches.

Symbol of American childhood lemonade stand 9-16-11

Children should not be punished unless they do wrong right and some of the rules that us adults have and our governments have are insane. There’s no more symbol of American childhood than the lemonade stand. Police in

Closing the Boarders 9-13-11 Commentary

Believe it or not they are closing the Borders with many souls getting into our nation in a non legal way and some of them are terrorists, or drug runners, this may sound like a good move or direction for our nation to take. However I am talking about the large chain of bookstores that’s going out of business, closing all of their remaining 399 stores in malls and shopping centers across the nation.
I will miss Boarders. There is still something cool about a book to read that is not downloaded on your computer. Lets support the book stores in our community so they don’t become the next Borders to close.
Pray for the employees of Borders along with other souls who are looking for jobs or will be looking for jobs.

We who follow Christ are to obey the laws of the land unless by obeying those laws we would disobey a command of God. As Peter would have when in the book of Acts he said we must obey God rather than men.

Nation Gone Under July 22, 2011 Commentary
“Under God Indivisible.” Don’t you think we should always remember those words when we are saying the pledge to our flag. However NBC left those three words completely out of two video features on the Pledge of Allegiance that were run as part of their U.S. Open coverage.
The outcry was quick, forcing the network to issue an apology later that Sunday afternoon. NBC officials claim that it was an omission and that they didn’t intend to offend anyone. Perhaps this was just a mistake but the overall attitude at NBC and in much of the media is an anti American, and anti faith.
Perhaps President Reagan was right when he said: “If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

July 4, 2011: Happy Birthday America!

Happy Birthday
I know many of you will have cook outs, or family get togethers . Both of which are cool to do but lets not forget what this day is about. Too often today we forget what our nation is all about..
We hear from some in the media and even some leaders say that
We are also free to worship or not worship God.
Most of all I hope you have spiritual freedom which you can have through Jesus Christ. You see if you don’t have Jesus in your soul you aren’t really free.
